clouds: dinner and cocktails at the top of the Tanzende Türme
The top two floors of an iconic tower
The Tanzende Türme, the “dancing towers” designed by the architect Hadi Teherani, mark the entrance to the Reeperbahn, opposite the Millerntor. In the taller of the two, between 98 and 107 metres above the Elbe, clouds occupies the upper floors: a conference room on the 22nd, the restaurant and bar on the 23rd, then the heaven's nest, a roof terrace of around 235 m². After water damage in January 2025, the venue reopened on 30 May 2026, with a new menu and a redesigned terrace.
The heaven's nest, from late spring to autumn
In fine weather, from April or May to October, a staircase leads up to the roof, where lounges and an outdoor bar face the port, the Elbe, Spielbudenplatz and the spire of the Michel. Champagne, wines, cocktails and small dishes are served there, such as the house truffle fries; some tables can be reserved with a minimum spend.
Seasonal cuisine and signature cocktails
The restaurant focuses on regional produce prepared with a French touch: fish, aged meats, vegetarian and vegan dishes. At the bar, house creations cost from €15.50 to €19.50. On Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm, a DJ livens up the 23rd floor.
