Skykitchen: fine dining facing the Berlin skyline
A vintage dining room on the 12th floor
A few minutes from Alexanderplatz, the Vienna House by Wyndham Andel's Berlin hotel houses a fine-dining restaurant on its 12th floor that looks out over the city. The 55-seat dining room combines velvet banquettes, a raw screed floor, vintage furniture and touches of copper, around an open kitchen. Picture windows run all the way round the room: at sunset, golden light floods in and the TV Tower is silhouetted against the sky, before the lights of Berlin take over.
Two five-course menus
The cooking, seasonal and deliberately pared back, puts the produce first. It comes as two five-course menus, one called “Voyage Culinaire”, the other vegetarian, at €149 each, with an optional wine pairing or an alcohol-free pairing. The wine list gives pride of place to Central and Eastern Europe, from Austria to Hungary and Serbia.
Long recognised by the Michelin Guide, which still lists it, the restaurant boasts other recent accolades: three toques in the Gault&Millau 2025 and 92 points in the Falstaff 2026. The service aims to be warm and free of stuffy formality.
After dinner, just go up two floors for a nightcap at the Loft14 bar.
