Dachboden: the 25hours Hotel's party attic
Above the MuseumsQuartier
The 25hours Hotel beim MuseumsQuartier stands at the start of Lerchenfelder Straße, on the edge of the Spittelberg quarter. On the 8th floor, Dachboden (German for “the attic”) takes up the entire top level, with a room lined with large windows and a terrace. The view stretches over the rooftops of Neubau and Spittelberg, the park and the domes of the museums, the Parliament and, on clear days, all the way to the hills.
The décor is like no other: mismatched furniture, flea-market lamps, brightly coloured banquettes, neon lights and disco balls. By day, people come for a quiet drink; in the evening, the atmosphere heats up with DJs and concerts.
A house cocktail list
The bartenders have come up with the “25 drinks to do”, house creations rounded off with ingredients prepared on site. The menu also features highballs, a fine selection of gins, specialty beers, wines and a few Austrian snacks, savoury and sweet, for late-night cravings. Finally, the Bali Brunch offers vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
Parties all year round
The programme changes every week: DJs on Fridays with Route 25, swing and lindy hop on the first Tuesday of the month, karaoke, after-work drinks or a New Year's Eve party. The bar can also be hired for a birthday or a company party.
