Seia occupies the 54th and 55th floors of the 830 Brickell tower. The 54th floor is home to the restaurant, open to everyone by reservation, while Seia Club, upstairs, is for members only. Getting there takes two elevators in a row. The long, bright dining room is lined with picture windows and potted trees; outside, a rounded terrace sheltered by glass walls faces Biscayne Bay, with the ocean on the horizon and the towers of Brickell all around.
A seasonal Italian menu
The kitchen puts a seasonal spin on Italian tradition: fresh pasta like bucatini cacio e pepe, charcoal-grilled octopus, fish crudo, meat and fish cooked over the embers, and cannoli for dessert. The wine cellar holds more than 150 Tuscan and international labels. Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm, Aperitivo Hour serves walk-ins classic cocktails at $13, wines by the glass at $9 and small plates from $8 to $18, a great way to enjoy the terrace at sunset without booking a full dinner. Private rooms host private dining and events.
Practical information
Lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 3pm; dinner nightly from 5pm, until 10:30pm Sunday through Thursday and 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Online reservations are recommended for the restaurant. In the height of summer, the heat makes the terrace less pleasant: the winter months are a better fit. The Brickell City Centre station on the free Metromover is about a hundred meters away.
