Media Luna Chill-Out: the Mediterranean from the roof of the Miramar
A roof facing La Malagueta
The Gran Hotel Miramar, a five-star palace hotel on the Paseo de Reding, borders La Malagueta beach, east of the port. Its seventh and top level is home to Media Luna Chill-Out, a terrace open at the end of the day and accessible without being a hotel guest, subject to available space.
The view stretches straight out to sea, over the palm trees of the seafront and the beach. The pavilions with white columns and tiled roofs, the gilded vases and the half-moon armchairs give the place the air of a belvedere. At dusk, when the sky turns pink over the Mediterranean, the spectacle alone is worth the trip up.
Cocktails, snacks and sushi
The drinks list features creative cocktails at €15, classics between €14 and €16, spritzes at €14 and sangrias, alongside a long selection of gins, rums and whiskies. On the food side, the menu brings together produce from Malaga and Japan: gildas, local cheeses, Iberian ham, gyozas, takoyaki or lobster brioche. On the same terrace, the Sokai Sushi Bar counter serves sushi from Wednesday to Saturday evening. Live music on some evenings.
