The roof of a hybrid hotel
Located on Praça de Dom João I, in the heart of the Baixa, The Social Hub Porto opened in February 2025: a thirteen-level building combining hotel rooms, coworking spaces and communal spaces. Its rooftop, on the 8th floor, was inaugurated at the end of June 2025 and welcomes guests and passing visitors alike.
The terrace stretches across a wooden deck, with a bar under a pergola, tiered seating topped with red-and-white striped cushions, sofas and high tables. The view takes in the tiled roofs of the centre and its towers. The pool running alongside the terrace is reserved for hotel guests.
Petiscos to share and Porto-style cocktails
The rooftop menu is all about sharing: Portuguese cheese or Iberian charcuterie boards (€20), tinned fish, croquettes, sea bass ceviche, tuna or beef tartare, as well as burgers, short rib tacos and a prawn hot dog. For drinks, the classics (spritz, porto tonic, mojito, negroni) are €9 and the signature cocktails, such as the Lychee Porto Negroni or the Sparkling Paloma, €14, with Portuguese wines by the glass at €7 and local beers.
In the evening, the terrace comes alive to the sound of resident DJs and live bands. The rooftop can be booked privately for events.

The rooftop is open to the public every day from 5pm; out of season, it is best to check opening hours by phone on +351 22 030 0550. Access via the hotel entrance, Praça de Dom João I 80, a few minutes' walk from Aliados and Bolhão metro stations.
