Auge Porto: the city in 360 degrees from the 19th floor
At the top of the Porto Palácio
The Porto Palácio Hotel by The Editory, a five-star hotel on Avenida da Boavista, has eighteen floors of rooms. The nineteenth, formerly occupied by the VIP Lounge, is now home to Auge Porto: a panoramic restaurant with around fifty covers, a wine cellar and a cocktail bar extended by a lounge with sofas facing the windows.
A panorama over the whole city
Fully glazed, the floor takes in the horizon: Avenida da Boavista below, the sea of rooftops sloping down towards the Douro, and to the west the ocean, visible on clear days. The spectacle can be enjoyed at the table or at the bar, especially when the sun sets over the Atlantic.
Seasonal cuisine and port cocktails
The restaurant menu follows the seasons and showcases Atlantic produce: in spring and summer 2026, amberjack ceviche, cream of pea with sea urchin, sole, octopus, bacalhau or monkfish, with starters from €12 to €22 and mains around €32 to €34. An executive menu is offered at lunchtime for business meals.
The bar presents itself as an embassy of port wine: port is enjoyed neat or in signature cocktails. Classics cost from €12 to €15 (Porto Tónico €12, Negroni €14), alcohol-free cocktails from €8 to €12, and a snack menu is served in the afternoon.
