Langosteria Ally's Bar: terrace cocktails near Montenapoleone
Two terraces on the sixth floor
A few steps from piazza San Babila and the via Montenapoleone district, 9 corso Giacomo Matteotti is home to Langosteria Montenapoleone, one of the Langosteria group's restaurants. A staircase with organic shapes connects the restaurant to its bar on the sixth floor: Ally's Bar. The interior is intimate and hushed, with wood panelling and lanterns, and it opens onto two terraces. Under the striped parasols, among planters and agapanthus, the view stretches towards the skyscrapers of Porta Nuova and the skyline of the north of the city.
A bar menu in its own right
The bar is run by Stefano Agostino, who worked at several renowned cocktail bars before taking the helm of the project. His menu aims to be essential and elegant, focused on clean flavours, alongside a selection of spirits. To go with the drinks, a small dedicated menu offers sandwiches and pasta dishes, in keeping with the spirit of the house. The average budget is around €100 per person if you have dinner.
Practical information
Ally's Bar opened in late 2025; bookings are taken online, a useful precaution to secure a spot on the terrace in fine weather. The terraces are open-air: in bad weather, guests retreat to the indoor room. The venue is about five minutes' walk from San Babila metro station and around ten minutes from the Duomo.
For a well-crafted cocktail high up in the fashion district, this is a recent and elegant address in the city centre.
