Neoma Sky: the Acropolis and Lycabettus from Koukaki
A roof terrace at the foot of Philopappos
On Mouson Street, on the edge of Koukaki and Petralona, the Neoma hotel backs onto the wooded slopes of Philopappos Hill. Its roof is home to Neoma Sky: a white terrace with banquettes set among greenery, a bright bar, high tables and a small plunge pool, all edged by glass railings.
On one side, the Parthenon and the ramparts of the Acropolis stand out above the trees; on the other, Lycabettus rises above the rooftops, and the view stretches towards the city and the coastline as far as Piraeus. At nightfall, illuminated monuments and city lights form a complete panorama.
Mediterranean dinner and aperitif cocktails
In the evening, the restaurant serves a seasonal Mediterranean menu made with local produce: white fish ceviche, fava and octopus, ricotta and Aegina pistachio gnocchi, lamb stewed with smoked aubergine. At the bar, the cocktail list favours aperitifs: spritz, negroni, paloma or creations based on Italian aperitivo, mostly €12 to €13, with a few alcohol-free cocktails.
The setting lends itself as well to a romantic dinner for two as to a drink with friends at sunset.
