Electra Roof Garden: the Acropolis above Plaka
The roof of the Electra Palace
On Navarchou Nikodimou Street, in the Plaka neighbourhood, the Electra Palace hotel has set up its panoramic restaurant on the 8th floor. A dining room with wide glass windows, extended by a terrace planted with potted olive trees and flower beds, looks directly towards the Acropolis.
From there, the rock towers over the colourful houses and tiled roofs of Plaka; the Parthenon and the Erechtheion stand out at the top. In the evening, when the monument is lit up, the terrace offers one of the most photogenic settings in the historic centre.
Mediterranean cuisine and Greek cocktails
The restaurant offers creative Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of fusion, served at lunch and dinner. At the bar, the cocktail list draws on Greek flavours: mastiha and Greek vermouth spritz, tsipouro and violet cocktail, banana- and caramel-infused negroni, from €15 to €18 for the house creations and around €14 to €16 for the classics. A long list of spirits, from Greek gin to Japanese whisky, and a wine list updated for 2026 complete the offer.
The café-bar, open from noon to midnight, lets you come up simply for an afternoon coffee or an evening drink facing the panorama, without going through the restaurant.
