Puzzle Bar: mixology on the 15th floor in HafenCity
A bar born in the world of fine dining
The Campus Tower stands on the edge of Lohsepark, in the new district of HafenCity. Since 2020, its 15th floor has been home to the Puzzle Bar, founded by Kevin Fehling, the three-star chef of The Table restaurant, before it changed hands. The spirit has remained: aromas are worked here as in a kitchen, with house-made syrups and infusions, and even a rotary evaporator.
A bar counter facing the windows and a terrace up high
The dark decor, all zebrawood, leather and velvet curtains, leaves the spotlight to the angular bar counter and the picture windows. The panorama takes in HafenCity, the Elbphilharmonie, the port and the city centre as far as the TV tower. On fine days, a terrace with around thirty seats, wrapping around the floor, lets you raise a glass in the open air as the sun sets; inside, there are some forty seats at the counter or by the windows.
Signature cocktails and a small, refined menu
The 2026 menu features creations such as the Saint-Tropez, the El Cartel with tequila and dill or a milk punch inspired by Thai tom kha gai, from €16 to €18, classics in the same price range and alcohol-free cocktails at €16. To eat: croque-monsieur with cheese or truffle, vintage sardines, crisps with trout caviar. The bar can be hired for birthdays or corporate events.
Practical information
Open Tuesday to Thursday from 6pm to 12.30am, Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 2am; closed Sunday and Monday. Over-18s only, no dogs allowed. Walk-ins welcome; groups of six or more by email or phone. U-Bahn HafenCity Universität (U4), a few minutes' walk away.
