A hotel dedicated to music
In music, the coda is the final passage of a piece, the one you remember. CODA restaurant is located in the Aria Hotel, a luxury music-themed hotel on Tržiště street, a few steps from St Nicholas Church in Malá Strana. The hotel and restaurant were designed by the Italian architecture studio SPATIUM, known for its long collaboration with Gianni Versace. On the walls hang works by Salvador Dalí, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Kristián Kodet and Josef Václav Myslbek, while the Rosenthal porcelain plates feature musical caricatures by Josef Blecha.
A rooftop terrace
In fine weather, and depending on the forecast, service moves up to the roof terrace. The view takes in the whole city: the green dome and bell tower of St Nicholas Church close by, Prague Castle, Petřín Tower, then the red roofs of Malá Strana all the way to the towers of Charles Bridge and the Old Town.
Igor Chramec's cuisine
Chef Igor Chramec works closely with local producers, preferably organic, and seeks to bring out the natural flavour of each ingredient. Guests choose between the à la carte menu, a tasting menu and, at lunchtime, a two- or three-course menu. From Tuesday to Saturday evening (depending on the season), a pianist accompanies dinner.
