On the roof of Brucity

A stone's throw from Place De Brouckère and Sainte-Catherine, Brucity replaced the former Parking 58, whose roof was already a popular summer meeting spot. The City of Brussels' new building now hosts the rooftop on its top two levels. From up there, the view sweeps right around the city: the Gothic tower of the Town Hall and the rooftops of the Grand-Place, the dome of the Palace of Justice and, in the distance, the spheres of the Atomium.

Two floors, two atmospheres

On the 8th floor, the penthouse combines an indoor bar behind a large glass wall with a terrace that takes in about 270 degrees of the city. There is table service, with cocktails and a sharing menu, and DJs on some evenings; this is the floor that is open all year round, and the only one where you can book a table, for up to 30 people. On the 9th floor, the roof becomes a giant open-air guinguette of more than 3,000 m² in the warm season: bar service, yellow chairs and a 360-degree view. The spot is very exposed to the wind with little shelter, and it closes in winter and in bad weather.

Good to know

On summer evenings and at weekends, you often have to wait downstairs before going up: capacity is limited to 230 people in the penthouse and 450 on the roof. A booking on the 8th floor gives priority access. The venue is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, minors must be accompanied by an adult and pets are not allowed.

Penthouse (8th floor) open all year round in the evening; 9th-floor roof open roughly from April to October, weather permitting (closed until spring 2027). Cocktails around €14.
