Secret Rooftop by Warwick: facing the Town Hall
A hidden roof near the Grand-Place
Warwick Brussels, a five-star hotel on Rue Duquesnoy, stands between the Grand-Place and the Central Station district. On its roof, the terrace of a suite has been turned into a bar: the Secret Rooftop. The name captures the spirit of the place, discreet from the street, but the reward is there once you are up top. The spire of the Town Hall rises right in front of you, above the rooftops of the historic centre.
Cocktails and Belgian gins
The wooden terrace, dotted with clipped box shrubs and high tables, suits a quick drink after sightseeing as well as an evening with friends. The menu focuses on classic cocktails and a selection of local gins, with Belgian products. When the weather turns, an indoor lounge with large windows takes over: the bar stays open in every season.
Good to know
The roof is regularly privatised for events and may then be closed to the public: the hotel recommends following its Instagram account for real-time updates. Tables cannot be booked, and last entry is one hour before closing.
