ORGANICS Sky Garden: a summer garden above Hoher Markt
An oasis on the rooftops of the 1st district
Sky Garden occupies the roof of a building on Wipplingerstraße, very close to Hoher Markt. On the 8th floor, its 400 m² terrace is laid out among planters, palm trees, a pergola and designer furniture, with long tables for groups and lounge corners for couples. From here, the view turns a full 360°: the spire of St. Stephen's Cathedral, the rooftops of the old town, the church towers and, in the evening, the city lights beneath the string lights.
Spritzes, cocktails and Italian food
As an official partner of The ORGANICS by Red Bull, the bar builds part of its menu around these drinks, both in cocktails and in alcohol-free versions, alongside spritzes, Lillet creations, classic long drinks, beer and champagne. To go with your aperitif, the kitchen goes Italian: antipasti, olives, bruschetta, burrata, pizzas and pasta, plus desserts such as tiramisu. The venue has been voted the Falstaff community's favourite rooftop bar several years in a row.
A seasonal venue
Sky Garden only opens during the warm season, from May to September, and reopens every spring. When the weather is uncertain, the team opens if possible but may close early in case of rain or cold; the day's information is posted on the website and social media.
Practical information
Open from May to September, Monday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight, closed on Sundays. Admission from age 18. Expect to pay €14.50–17.50 for a cocktail. Booking online recommended but not required; smart casual dress recommended. Free Wi-Fi, pets welcome, smoking area. Private hire available.
