The Barceló Valencia hotel stands on Avenida de Francia, facing the roundabout nicknamed “el Parotet”. Its tenth floor is home to the Terraza 270º, a terrace with bar service. From there, the view plunges down onto the City of Arts and Sciences: the Reina Sofía Palace of the Arts, the Hemisfèric, the Science Museum and its turquoise pools, then the eastern districts all the way to the sea.
The décor is understated, with high tables and white stools, artificial turf and a glass balustrade, extended by an indoor lounge with large picture windows. At sunset, Calatrava's white buildings take on a pink hue.
Cocktails and the Sunset package
The bar serves premium drinks, cocktails with or without alcohol, cavas and champagnes, to a chill-out soundtrack. The hotel offers the “Sunset 270º” package: €35 per person for two drinks or two cocktails, or a bottle of wine or cava to share between two, bookable online and reserved for over-18s. The terrace can also be booked exclusively for events. A small pool is part of the space.
Practical information
The terrace operates mainly in summer: the rest of the year, its opening depends on the weather and the hotel's events, and opening hours are available from reception. In bad weather, the Sunset package moves to the indoor bar. Tram: line 10, Ciutat Arts i Ciències - Justícia stop, about 900 metres away.
