Pura Vida Terraza: flamenco and cocktails facing the Giralda
An azotea in the heart of Santa Cruz
On calle Segovias, a few streets from the Cathedral, the Los Seises Sevilla hotel, now part of Marriott's Tribute Portfolio collection, occupies a former palace in the historic centre. Its roof is home to Pura Vida, a terrace bar and restaurant that welcomes hotel guests as well as Sevillians and passing visitors.
The décor is all about relaxation: wooden decking, palm trees and tropical plants, strings of light bulbs and a small glass canopy. Above the tiled rooftops, the Giralda and the apse of the Cathedral fill the whole horizon, golden at sunset and then illuminated after dark.
Cocktails, sherry and flamenco
The drinks list remains affordable for the neighbourhood: classic cocktails at €12 (€15 with premium spirits), seasonal creations and sherry-based cocktails at the same price, and a long selection of gins and rums. You can also eat here, as the terrace doubles as a restaurant. On Sundays, a series of acoustic flamenco concerts sets the roof vibrating opposite the Cathedral. The terrace can be booked for business meals, cocktail parties or parties with friends.

Open every day from 3pm to 2am. For a drink, entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to available space; tables for the concerts can be booked online, except from June to September. T1 tram: Plaza Nueva or Archivo de Indias stops, about 350 metres away. Metro L1: Puerta de Jerez, just over 600 metres away.
