La Terraza del Hotel Inglaterra: central Seville in 360 degrees
At the top of a historic hotel on Plaza Nueva
Facing City Hall on Plaza Nueva, the Inglaterra hotel is one of the historic hotels of central Seville. Its terrace occupies the highest floor of the building: around 200 m² fitted out as a panoramic bar, with a large bar counter, white banquettes, plants and a section covered by a retractable awning.
From the edge of the terrace, the Giralda and the Cathedral stand out above the rooftops, while the rest of the historic centre stretches out in every direction. The end of the day is the most popular time, when the sun sets over the city and the monuments light up.
Cocktails, tapas and dinner up high
The terrace is as well suited to an aperitif as to a meal: people come for a cocktail or a gin and tonic, to share a few tapas or to have dinner to music. The venue also hosts events, for up to around a hundred guests with a meal and around sixty without, with an air-conditioned marquee for receptions.
Practical information
Opening hours are not published online: it is best to call the hotel before coming. Children are only admitted if they are staying at the hotel, until 10pm; after that, only over-12s accompanied by an adult may access the terrace. The T1 tram stops on Plaza Nueva, about a hundred metres away.
