SíSí Rooftop: Mexico above Poblenou
From pop-up to permanent address
After an initial trial run as a pop-up, SíSí settled in for good in September 2025 at the top of The Social Hub Barcelona Poblenou, a building that combines a hotel, student housing and coworking spaces. The concept, born in Glasgow, draws on the spirit of the Mexican-American coast: bold colours, clean lines and a relaxed atmosphere, on the fifteenth floor.
Pool, sun loungers and city views
The terrace is laid out around a pool, sun loungers and sofas, with a bar open onto the kitchen. From up there, the view takes in Barcelona, and the sea is just a few minutes away. DJs play every week and themed evenings punctuate the calendar, especially at sunset.
Charcoal cooking and signature cocktails
Chef Adam Rawson creates a reinvented Mexican menu cooked on a charcoal robata grill: sea bass aguachile, beef short rib birria, roast sea bass with chipotle and lime butter, a burger or carabinero rice. The cocktails, created by Marc Álvarez, blend Mexican, Peruvian and Asian influences; they cost €12 to €14, like the M&M with mezcal, amaro, mole and cacao. The wine list showcases natural, organic and biodynamic producers.
Practical information
SíSí opens every day from noon and closes around 11.30pm early in the week, a little later from Thursday to Saturday; as the published opening hours are not always consistent, it is best to check them on the website before coming. Bookings are made online. Selva de Mar metro (line L4) is a few minutes' walk away.
A festive spot for a Mexican dinner with a view, away from the bustle of the city centre.
