ICON Bar & Rooftop: the 25 de Abril Bridge as a backdrop

The Hyatt Regency Lisboa, which opened at the end of 2022 on Rua da Junqueira, has topped its roof with a bar called ICON. Access is through the hotel restaurant, Viseversa, where a hostess accompanies visitors to the terrace. The venue is open to everyone, whether or not they are staying at the hotel.
The décor plays the lounge card: white banquettes, rattan armchairs, plants and two terrace levels, with a small decorative water feature. But everyone comes for the view: the Tagus spreads out at the foot of the hotel, the 25 de Abril Bridge cuts across the horizon and the south bank takes on colour at sunset. The hour before dusk is the most sought-after.
Signature cocktails and small plates
The menu revisits the classics: Exotic Porn Star with vodka and passion fruit, Mystic Mule, Gin Basil, Golden Hour Negroni or Cosmic Margarita, not forgetting mocktails and bowls of sangria to share. On the food side, a few plates designed to go with the drinks, such as the prawn and lobster hot dog or the Bairrada-style suckling pig bao, with vegetarian options.
DJs liven up Friday and Saturday evenings. The rooftop also hosts private and corporate events for groups of 25 or more.
Practical information
Open every day: Monday and Tuesday from 4pm to midnight, Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm to 1am. Booking recommended, especially at sunset and at weekends; walk-in guests are seated subject to availability. A minimum spend per person applies (€35 on the lower deck, €50 on the upper deck). Smart casual dress required, with no beachwear or sportswear; minors admitted until 7pm, when accompanied. Getting there: tram 15E along Rua da Junqueira, or Cascais line trains (Alcântara-Mar and Belém stations).
