The roof of a new five-star hotel
The Lisbon Chiado Hotel & Spa, a five-star hotel on Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, opened its rooftop in September 2025. Beyond occupies the top two levels of the building: a glass-walled room set into the roof and, above it, a terrace under a pergola, with light-coloured lounge seating and a glass balustrade.
The view sweeps right around the city. On one side, São Jorge Castle and Sé Cathedral stand out above the rooftops of the Baixa, with the Tagus as a backdrop; on the other, you can make out the viewpoints of Graça, the buildings of Saldanha and part of the 25 de Abril Bridge. Right next door, the façade of the Teatro da Trindade completes the picture.
Signature cocktails and small plates
The drinks menu reinvents the classics with infusions of Portuguese herbs, citrus fruits and craft spirits: Trindade with gin and violet, Fashioned Fig with bourbon and fig, Hazuki with vodka and yuzu, from €15 to €20. Portuguese and international wines, champagnes and sparkling sangria round off the offer, along with alcohol-free cocktails.
In the kitchen, small plates to share follow the seasons: oysters with citrus vinaigrette, artisan cheeses, salads, ceviches and toasted focaccias.

Open every day from noon to midnight. Book by phone on +351 218 386 372. The Lisbon Chiado Hotel is on Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, near the Teatro da Trindade. Baixa-Chiado metro (blue and green lines) is a few minutes' walk away; tram 28 stops at Chiado.
