MOB Hotel Lyon Confluence: a green and friendly rooftop
A hotel open to its neighbourhood
On quai Rambaud, on the banks of the Saône, the MOB Hotel Lyon Confluence is a three-star hotel that sees itself first and foremost as a social hub open to all. When the sun comes out, its leafy rooftop, laid out on the roof of the building's base, becomes a popular meeting place. The idea is simple: you order at the hotel bar and head upstairs to settle in on the terrace.
The terrace is not very high up, but it offers a green, sunny space facing the Saône and the Confluence district.
A certified organic kitchen
The hotel restaurant is certified organic. Guests share pizzas, from €14 to €19, boards and seasonal bistro cooking with Italian touches. House cocktails cost between €11 and €14, alongside local beers and wines by the glass. A children's menu is available. For groups, the MOB also organises barbecues on the rooftop, for ten people or more.
An eclectic programme
Every month the venue offers a varied programme: DJ sets, music quizzes, themed nights, meet-ups and markets. The spaces, including the terrace, can be hired for meetings, seminars or parties.
Practical information
The rooftop opens in the warmer months, generally from spring to early autumn; the restaurant and indoor bar operate all year round, with the bar open from 7am to midnight. The entrance is through the hotel, at 55 quai Rambaud. Tram T1 (Musée des Confluences stop) is a few minutes away, as is the S1 shuttle.
For a drink amid the greenery, in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, the MOB Hotel is a pleasant stop in Confluence.
