Le Rooftop Maison Nô: the rooftops of the Presqu'île within reach
A former bank topped with a terrace
On rue du Bât d'Argent, a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville, Maison Nô has taken up residence in a 19th-century former bank, converted into a 45-room four-star hotel. Right at the top, on the sixth floor, the Le Rooftop bar sits beneath a glass roof that extends onto a terrace planted with olive trees. It is not reserved for hotel guests: anyone can go up.
Fourvière in your sights
From the terrace, the view runs across the tiled roofs of the Presqu'île to the Fourvière basilica, which crowns the hill opposite. You can also make out the towers of Part-Dieu, the dome of the Opéra and the belfry of the Hôtel de Ville. A quintessentially Lyonnais panorama, especially lovely at the end of the day.
Cocktails and sharing plates
The bar menu focuses on cocktails, priced at around €16 (Clover Club, Paloma or Moscow Mule), alongside spritzes, mocktails, beers, wines by the glass and champagne. For a bite to eat, the tapas menu offers salt cod fritters, prawn tempura, spreads or a mixed board of charcuterie and cheese, served until 10.30pm.
Le Rooftop can also be booked for exclusive use, for up to 75 guests standing, for a private event or a corporate seminar.
Practical information
The bar is open daily from 5pm to 11pm. It is easy to reach by metro, at Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel station (lines A and C), and there are several public car parks in the area. It is wheelchair accessible.
With its glass roof, leafy terrace and view of Fourvière, Le Rooftop Maison Nô stands out as one of the most central rooftop terraces in Lyon.
