Gourmet Bar Lyon Confluence: a terrace along the Saône
A large raised terrace
In the heart of the Confluence shopping and leisure hub, the Gourmet Bar occupies the second floor of the Novotel Lyon Confluence. Its 180 m² terrace, dotted with plants, overlooks the quays of the Saône. It is not a high-rise rooftop, but its raised position opens up a lovely view of the river and the wooded hill on the opposite bank.
From aperitif to dinner
The restaurant serves seasonal French cuisine, with evening dishes from around €18 to €34. At aperitif time, a menu of tapas and sharing boards accompanies the house cocktails, priced between €11 and €13, as well as alcohol-free drinks and champagne by the glass. There is also a children's menu.
When the weather is fine, the terrace hosts lively evenings: open-air DJ sets, jazz concerts and guinguette-style nights set the rhythm of the season. The venue also has coworking spaces and can be hired in whole or in part for professional or private events.
Practical information
The bar is open daily from 6.30am to midnight. The restaurant serves Monday to Saturday from noon to 2.30pm and from 7pm to 10.30pm, as well as on Sunday evenings. Bookings are made online. Tram T1 (Hôtel de Région - Montrochet stop) and bus S1 serve the area, and the Confluence shopping centre car park is on level -1. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility thanks to a lift.
