Oblix: two moods on the 32nd floor of the Shard

West for dinner, East for drinks

One floor above Aqua Shard, Oblix occupies level 32 of the Shard and is divided into two rooms with opposite views. To the west, Oblix West is an open-kitchen restaurant centred on the rotisserie and grill, whose windows look towards central London and the Thames, ideal at sunset. To the east, Oblix East is a more relaxed lounge bar, with armchairs facing the skyscrapers of the City and, down below, Tower Bridge.

Grills, brunch and cocktails

On the West side, the menu lines up a shellfish bar, seafood platters, roast meats and steaks, with a weekday lunch menu, brunch on Saturdays and Sundays (three courses for £55, with optional bottomless drinks packages) and a Sunday roast. On the East side, an all-day menu accompanies the house martinis and signature cocktails, most of them around £18, and afternoon tea is served in the afternoon. Early in the evening, the “Sundowners” offer brings a selection of cocktails at half price from 5pm to 7pm.

Practical information

The Oblix East bar opens daily from noon; lunch is served Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6pm (until 9.30pm Sunday to Thursday, 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Meals can be booked online for up to five people, and by phone for larger parties. In the bar, seats are allocated without reservations, on a first-come, first-served basis, and under-16s are not admitted after 6pm. Entrance at 31 St Thomas Street; London Bridge Underground station (Jubilee and Northern lines).
