A low-key rooftop in the heart of Sukhumvit
On Soi Sukhumvit 20, a quieter street between Asok and Phrom Phong, the Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 hides Sky on 20 on its roof. On the 26th floor, an indoor space extends a large open-air terrace, furnished with armchairs and low tables, facing the towers that line Sukhumvit.
The show is at its best at sunset, then as the city lights up. To ring in 2027, a New Year's Eve party has been announced on the roof.
Signature cocktails and Mediterranean plates
The 2026 menu features a collection of signature cocktails at around 450 baht, such as the Sam Ros with Thai Mekhong whisky and tamarind, or the Coco Snow with tequila and coconut water. The food is Mediterranean: tapas, fried calamari with tzatziki sauce, souvlaki, pizzas and sharing dishes. All listed prices are net, including tax and service. A two-hour unlimited package and packages for birthdays and groups are available, and the space can be booked for private use.
Practical information
Sky on 20 opens in the late afternoon, from 5pm, until late in the evening. Happy hour runs daily from 5pm to 7pm, with a selection of cocktails, wines and beers at reduced prices. Bookings online via the website or by phone. BTS Asok and Phrom Phong stations are the closest, a few minutes' walk away along Sukhumvit Road. During the rainy season, from May to October, the indoor room offers shelter.
