Bar.Yard: a tropical party above Lumphini Park
A colourful rooftop in the Langsuan district
The Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok is located in the Langsuan district, between Lumphini Park and Ploenchit. Its rooftop bar, Bar.Yard, occupies the 40th floor. Opened in 2021, it was refreshed in 2026: bold colours, hornbill, bird-of-paradise, snake and sun motifs, and a chandelier in the shape of a celestial body above the bar.
The space alternates between an air-conditioned room and an open-air terrace with a 270-degree view. Below, Lumphini Park forms a large patch of green amid the towers, facing the Sathorn skyline. The venue was named Bangkok's best rooftop bar at the BK B.A.D. Awards several years in a row, from 2023 to 2026.
Pan-Latin cuisine, cocktails and DJs
In the kitchen, Peruvian chef Julio César Concha Muñoz combines Nikkei and Latin American inspirations with Thai spices, with dishes cooked on the grill. At the bar, signature cocktails, reimagined classics and alcohol-free options; the house spicy margarita is one of the must-tries. After dark, DJs play afro house and mainstream remixes, and themed nights punctuate the year.

Bar.Yard is open Sunday to Wednesday from 5pm to 1am, and Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 2am; last kitchen orders at 10:30pm, followed by a late-night menu. Happy hour runs daily from 5pm to 7pm.
