Dardar: the medina from above, from noon to 2am
In the heart of Riad Zitoun Lakdim
Dardar is at number 4 Riad Zitoun Lakdim, one of the shopping streets that run from Jemaa el-Fna square towards the south of the medina. Once at the top, the roof is divided between a large covered room, open to the outside and decorated with lanterns, and an open-air terrace. The eye travels over the terraces of the old town to the minaret of the Koutoubia and, when the air is clear, as far as the peaks of the Atlas.
Reinvented Moroccan cuisine
The menu takes homemade Moroccan recipes and blends them with international influences: burger and poke bowl at lunchtime, tapas at aperitif time, pink couscous or tanjia in the evening. It is also one of the medina's venues where alcohol is served: signature cocktails and Moroccan and foreign wines accompany the meal or the sunset.
Music and dinner shows
On some evenings, musicians play live and DJs liven up the terrace. The venue also hosts dinner shows, and a space called Dar Club extends the evening. Groups and private events are welcome by reservation.
