Kabana: a tropical garden facing the Koutoubia
At the gates of the medina
Kabana occupies the roof of a building in Kissariat Ben Khaled, on rue Fatima Zahra, at the entrance to the medina. The minaret of the Koutoubia rises directly opposite, and Jemaa el-Fna square is only a few minutes' walk away. The open-air terrace, planted with palm trees and greenery, extends into a covered area: a large, exotic-inspired hut that houses the bar.
Mediterranean dishes, sushi and brunch
The cuisine reinterprets Mediterranean flavours, with vegetarian options and parmesan fries that have become the house speciality. A sushi counter run by a chef trained in the Japanese tradition completes the menu, and brunch is also on offer.
Cocktails and lively evenings
Alcohol is served here: a dozen house cocktails at 160 dirhams, classics, Moroccan draught beers, spirits and a list of wines from Morocco and elsewhere. Mocktails also have their own page. In the evening, DJs and bands take over and the atmosphere becomes decidedly festive, especially at weekends. The venue can be booked for private events.
