OTTO 25: a bar on the 25th floor in the Werksviertel

At the top of WERK4

Werksviertel-Mitte, a former industrial site redeveloped behind the Ostbahnhof, gained a new high-altitude address in 2025. After a first summer as a pop-up terrace on the roof of WERK4, OTTO 25 moved to the building's 25th floor in the autumn, and claims the title of the city's highest bar. You get there through the lobby of the Adina Hotel, then by express lift.

A glass-walled room and a summer terrace

Inside, large windows frame the city, with armchairs turned towards the glass and a long bar counter. The giant letters on the windows are made from the wool of the sheep that graze on the roof of neighbouring WERK3, and some of the furniture comes from the history of the district. On fine days, a few steps or a lift lead up to the rooftop terrace, which is wheelchair accessible; it only opens in the warmer months and only if the wind allows. On clear days, the view reaches as far as the Alps.

Spritzes, signatures and wines by the glass

The menu features around twenty cocktails, around ten wines by the glass and several alcohol-free drinks. Spritzes are €12.90, including the OTTO 25 Spritz with gin, raspberry and vanilla; the classics cost €14.50 and the house creations €14.50 to €16.90. Concerts take place on some Sundays and the bar hosts a New Year's Eve party.

Practical information

Open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 1am, including public holidays; during opening hours, at least one of the two bars, indoors or on the terrace, is open to the public. No reservations, card payment only. Entrance via the Adina Hotel, Atelierstraße 22; S-Bahn (S1 to S8), U5 and tram 19 to the Ostbahnhof stop, a few minutes' walk away.
