Perruche: Provence on the roof of Printemps
A restaurant at the top of Printemps de l'Homme
Perruche occupies the roof of Printemps de l'Homme, the department store building whose entrance is on rue du Havre. It should not be confused with the 7e Ciel terrace, located on another Printemps Haussmann building: here, you go up to the 9th floor for a table in the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Run by the Paris Society group, the venue combines a dining room with large picture windows and a planted terrace, in a decor of pale wood, terracotta and yellow stripes by Hugo Toro and Maxime Liautard.
Paris in 360 degrees
From the terrace, the view runs over the Haussmann-era rooftops all the way to the Eiffel Tower, while the Opéra Garnier rises close by and the Sacré-Cœur can be glimpsed to the north. Sunset here is particularly popular.
Provençal cuisine and sunny cocktails
The menu revisits classics from the South of France, to share: pissaladière, petits farcis, salade niçoise, king prawns flambéed in pastis or lamb chops with thyme. At the bar, house creations are €22 and the great classics €20, with a fine selection of Provence rosés and champagnes. A music programme accompanies the evenings, and the venue can be hired for events.
