Maggie Rooftop: facing the Sacré-Cœur, above Pigalle
A garden on the 9th floor of an Art Deco hotel
On boulevard de Rochechouart, the hotel of the same name has sported an Art Deco façade since 1929. Renovated by the architect-designer duo Festen, it has gained a terrace of around a hundred square metres on its 9th floor: Maggie Rooftop. Fig, vine, rosemary and lavender grow between the wrought-iron tables and banquettes, under large striped awnings. The venue is open to everyone, not just hotel guests.
A 360° view
As you step out of the lift, the dome of the Sacré-Cœur appears very close, atop the hill of Montmartre. On the other side, the Eiffel Tower and the towers of La Défense stand out above the sea of Parisian rooftops.
Cocktails and sharing plates
The bar offers cocktails made with Nikka whisky, gin or vodka at €17, a range of spritzes at €15, alcohol-free spritzes at €11, wines by the glass and champagnes. To go with them, the evening menu lines up gazpacho, burrata, grilled octopus, vitello tonnato or pulled beef tacos, from €11 to €24. At weekends, brunch is served on the rooftop, by reservation.
Practical information
Maggie Rooftop is seasonal: it reopens every spring and closes in the autumn. In 2026, the season began on 16 April. It welcomes walk-ins from 5pm to midnight; only one large table for 8 to 12 people can be booked. Pigalle and Anvers stations (line 2) are just a short walk away.
With its herb garden and close-up view of the Sacré-Cœur, Maggie Rooftop is a lovely spot to rise above the city in the north of Paris.
