Mūn: Asia on the rooftops of the Champs-Élysées
An Asian boudoir at the top of the avenue
From Paris Society, the group behind Girafe and Monsieur Bleu, Mūn occupies the top floor of a building at 52 avenue des Champs-Élysées. The dining room plays the boudoir card: mustard velvet, floral-patterned armchairs, lacquered screens, lanterns and a dark wood ceiling, with large windows opening onto the terrace. A private room, the Salon Opium, and a light-filled greenhouse complete the setting.
A planted terrace facing the monuments
Outside, the wooden terrace stretches out among bamboo, jars and lanterns, just above the tops of the plane trees. The view runs along the avenue to the Arc de Triomphe, while the Eiffel Tower stands out on the other side, above the rooftops; the panorama also extends towards the Grand Palais and the Sacré-Cœur.
Japanese-inspired cuisine and cocktails
Designed for sharing, the menu revisits the great Asian classics: tuna tataki, salmon sashimi, dim sum, wagyu tacos, then matcha tea mochi or mango coconut rice for dessert. The signature cocktails, at around €22, pair sake, shiso, wasabi or exotic fruits with spirits. From Thursday to Saturday, after dinner, the venue turns into a pre-party spot from 11pm to 1.45am, with or without a booking, to the sound of an international playlist. The greenhouse and the private room also host receptions and corporate events.
