The Nest: a nest perched above Marylebone
A bar on the roof of the Treehouse Hotel
Opposite The Langham hotel, on Langham Place, the Treehouse Hotel London occupies the upper floors of a converted office building, between Oxford Circus and Marylebone. Its Madera restaurant is on the 15th floor; one level up, on the 16th, The Nest spreads out an indoor lounge filled with plants, wood and natural materials, extended by a terrace that wraps around the roof, complete with deckchairs.
From up here, the panorama takes in 360 degrees of London skyline, above the rooftops of the West End. Seats inside or on the terrace are allocated according to availability and the weather.
Creative cocktails, small plates and DJs
The signature cocktail list, at £18 to £19, mixes reworked classics with creations such as a truffle martini or a mezcal-based drink. To go with them, the bar menu, served from noon to 10.30pm, offers British charcuterie and cheese boards, sea bass tartare mini tacos, croquettes or mini burgers. From Thursday to Saturday, DJs set the mood from 8pm. On Sunday lunchtimes, dogs are welcome at the “Drinks on the Woof” get-togethers, and the rooftop also hosts workshops and themed evenings.
