MY Kechmara is at 3 Rue de la Liberté, in the Guéliz district, the new town built in the 20th century west of the medina, among art galleries and shops. On the ground floor, a concept store showcases creations by Moroccan and African designers; on the second floor, the roof terrace has been laid out as a hanging garden, with lush plants, wicker pendant lights and white chairs. The view stays at the height of the neighbouring buildings: people come for the atmosphere more than for the panorama.
A menu from morning to night
The kitchen works with fresh, local produce: briouates, tacos, tuna ceviche, tartare, burgers, but also couscous and tagines. Dishes range from 60 to 205 dirhams.
Wines, beers and cocktails
Alcohol is served: Moroccan, French, Italian and Spanish wines, draught or bottled beers, sangria and exotic cocktails. Happy hour runs from 5pm to 7pm, with cocktails at 70 dirhams. Several evenings a week, DJs liven up the terrace, and art exhibitions are regularly hung.

MY Kechmara is open every day from 10am to 2am, with last orders around 1.15am. Book online on the website; you can also come without booking. Casual chic dress. From the medina, allow a petit taxi ride to Guéliz; the district is then easy to explore on foot.
