Riserva Rooftop: dinner and cocktails on the Posillipo hill

Opened in 2019 on Via Alessandro Manzoni, in the residential district of Posillipo, Riserva Rooftop expanded in 2023 with the Sky Lounge Martini, set on a second panoramic terrace. The venue combines softly lit indoor rooms and open-air terraces, furnished with colourful banquettes, string lights and a large decorative flowering tree that brightens the evening with its red hues.
The sea at sunset
Facing the open sea, the terrace watches the sun sink into the water, with the coastline and the islands of the bay on the horizon. Golden hour is the highlight of the evening, before the lights of the coast take over.
The grill, the cellar and gourmet mixology
The restaurant reinterprets signature dishes from the regions of Italy, with a “Giro gastronomico d'Italia” that puts one region in the spotlight each time the menu changes, and gives pride of place to aged meats cooked over embers; the house is an ambassador for certified Kobe beef. The wine cellar holds hundreds of labels, and a private room is dedicated to the Ruinart champagne house. At the bar, “gourmet mixology” borrows techniques from haute cuisine and pastry-making, as with the “Napul'è”, an aperitif served with a bite of babà. The Sky Lounge adds a bistro menu, champagne by the glass and a live music selection.
Practical information
Riserva opens in the evening from 7.30pm or 8pm until 1am, and until 2am in summer; out of season, lunch is also served on Sundays. The venue hosts private events and weddings.
