Terraza Mikuna: Latin America on the roof of the BHV Marais

Two levels above the Marais

Set up since 2024 at the top of the department store on rue de Rivoli, on the site of the former Perchoir Marais, Terraza Mikuna is the rooftop of the Parisian group Mikuna. The venue covers around 300 m² across two floors: a planted terrace on the 6th, more relaxed and accessible without a booking, and a rooftop on the 7th, open since June 2025, where the atmosphere becomes more festive with DJ sets at weekends.

A view of the Hôtel de Ville and the Eiffel Tower

From the tables, the slate roofs of the Hôtel de Ville fill the foreground, while the Eiffel Tower stands out in the distance, between domes and Haussmann-era rooftops. At sunset, the panorama takes on golden hues: it is the most sought-after moment, so it is best to book for the 7th floor.

Ceviches, charcoal grilling and Latin cocktails

The menu draws on the cuisines of Peru, Mexico and Argentina, with a Nikkei touch: salmon ceviche, sea bream carpaccio, tacos, house guacamole, then meat and fish grilled over charcoal, the latter served only on the rooftop. At the bar, signature cocktails based on tequila, mezcal and pisco are priced at €18, alongside a few alcohol-free creations. Group menus are available for ten people or more, and both spaces can be hired for up to 250 guests for a standing cocktail event.

Practical information

The entrance is at 1 rue des Archives, through a door and lift separate from the store, so you can go up even after the BHV has closed. The venue opens every evening, and on Saturdays and Sundays from lunchtime; hours may vary with the season, so check before you go. Originally a summer venue, the rooftop now stays open in winter, with a covered and heated terrace on the 6th floor and a 7th floor that is covered from late October. Nearest metro: Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11). Book online or by phone; booking is recommended in the evening.

An ideal spot for a sunset drink in the very heart of Paris.
