Langosteria: Italian-style seafood at the top of the Samaritaine
A Milanese address on the seventh floor
Born in Milan, Langosteria opened its first restaurant outside Italy in September 2021 at Cheval Blanc Paris, the palace hotel on quai du Louvre in the former Samaritaine. The restaurant occupies the seventh floor, like Le Tout-Paris, but it is an entirely separate venue: a different team, a different atmosphere and a menu wholly devoted to Italy and seafood. A vast air-conditioned indoor dining room extends onto an open-air terrace.
From Notre-Dame to the Sacré-Cœur
Facing the Pont-Neuf, the terrace overlooks the Seine and the turrets of the Conciergerie. The eye glides towards the towers of Notre-Dame, climbs up to the Sacré-Cœur on the Montmartre hill and, on the other side, reaches the Eiffel Tower above the rooftops of the Left Bank. As evening falls, the illuminated monuments create a very Parisian backdrop for an Italian-style dinner.
Fish, shellfish and fine wines
Under executive chef Michele Biassoni, the menu celebrates the sea, alternating cold, warm and hot preparations: bluefin tuna carpaccio with smoked aubergine, linguine with Breton blue lobster, king crab. The cellar holds nearly 900 Italian and French labels, and the cocktail list mixes house creations, such as the Pomodoro & Mezcal, with revisited classics like a spiced Negroni. Prices are those of a palace hotel, with, for example, a tasting menu to share at around €172 per person. Spaces can be booked for private dinners and corporate events.
