Skybar Paris: a drink 115 metres above Montparnasse
At the top of the Pullman Paris Montparnasse
Skybar Paris has set up on the 32nd floor of the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, in the 14th arrondissement. A lift takes you from the hotel lobby up to this bar perched 115 metres high, the Paris outpost of the Skybar brand, which can also be found in Los Angeles and Miami Beach. Inside, the atmosphere is hushed, with seventies-inspired decor, banquettes and a lacquered counter.
The Eiffel Tower in its sights
From the open-air terrace, the eye sweeps over the rooftops to the Eiffel Tower and the towers of La Défense, while the Tour Montparnasse rises close by. It is one of the highest vantage points in the capital for watching the sunset. The terrace reopens every spring for the warmer months; the rest of the year, you enjoy the view from the glass-walled indoor bar.
Signature cocktails and DJ sets
The menu lists around ten signature cocktails, such as the Sky Mule or the Truffle Kiss, at around €25, as well as alcohol-free creations, wines and champagne. A few sharing plates accompany the drinks early in the evening. DJs take to the decks on weekend nights, and the venue can be hired in part or in full.
