Kinugawa Rive Gauche: the Eiffel Tower in its sights
A Franco-Japanese restaurant at the top of the SAX
Opened in spring 2025, Kinugawa Rive Gauche is the new Paris address of the Kinugawa house, which also has an izakaya in Paris and is present in Megève, Courchevel, Ramatuelle and Dubai. The restaurant occupies the top of the SAX Paris hotel, in the 7th arrondissement, on two levels: a dining room mixing fluted wood, printed fabrics, patinated bronze and plays of mirrors, open every day, and, just above, a large roof terrace.
A rooftop facing the Iron Lady
From the dining room as from the terrace, the Eiffel Tower dominates the horizon above the rooftops of the 7th. The rooftop, furnished with banquettes, lanterns and pergolas, offers an all-round view of the capital. It operates seasonally: inaugurated in summer 2025, it reopened from 22 May to 30 September 2026, with a short period of private hire between late May and early June.
Sushi, black cod and yuzu cocktails
The menu brings Japanese tradition into dialogue with French touches: fish carpaccios, crispy taruto with truffled tarama, miso-marinated black cod, wagyu, sushi and maki, mostly priced at around €20 to €50 a dish. At the bar, shiso, umeshu and sake reinvent Parisian classics, with signature cocktails from €21 to €23 in 2026. Brunch is served every Sunday, and groups of more than thirty people can organise a private event.
