Rooftop Eylau: the Eiffel Tower opposite, above the 16th

A roof terrace open to everyone

At the top of the Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower, a lifestyle hotel on avenue d'Eylau, the rooftop occupies the seventh floor. The long terrace alternates beds of Mediterranean plants, sun loungers, banquettes, high tables and large parasols, with a brazier at the heart of the layout. The venue welcomes hotel guests as well as Parisians and passing visitors, with or without a reservation, from lunch right through to the last drink.

Facing the Iron Lady

The Eiffel Tower rises right opposite, above the zinc roofs and chimneys of the neighbourhood, with the Montparnasse Tower in the background. The spectacle is at its height at sunset, then at nightfall, when the tower lights up and sparkles for a few minutes at the start of every hour.

Brazier, cocktails and entertainment

The seasonal menu, made with local produce, gives pride of place to the brazier: beef or duck seared over the flame, pizzas, carpaccio, sharing boards and artisanal ice creams in summer. At the bar, signature and classic cocktails at around €19, craft beers, wines and a genuine alcohol-free offering. A happy hour takes place every day in the late afternoon, and through the seasons the terrace hosts vinyl DJ sets, games of pétanque and live sports broadcasts. In winter, a large heated transparent bubble, with blankets and hot drinks, lets you enjoy the view sheltered from the cold.

Open every day from noon to 11.30pm, weather permitting; online booking is recommended for sunset seats, or by phone on 01 45 50 50 92. Private hire is possible for groups of up to around 80 people.
