The Brach rooftop: a kitchen garden facing the Eiffel Tower
A garden atop a Starck-designed hotel
On rue Jean-Richepin, near La Muette, Brach Paris occupies a former 1970s postal sorting centre reimagined by Philippe Starck. Its roof, on the 7th floor, hides a hanging garden: a vegetable patch, aromatic herbs, a henhouse and a wooden Nordic bath, among lounge areas in pale wood and woven lanterns. Open to all, it works on a no-reservations basis.
A 360° view
The panorama stretches over the rooftops of western Paris, with the Eiffel Tower straight ahead, Montmartre on one side and the towers of La Défense in the distance. Sunset over the Iron Lady remains the most sought-after moment of the evening.
Villa Minuty
During the summer season, the rooftop hosts Villa Minuty, in partnership with the Provençal estate of the same name; it was there in 2025 and returned in 2026. On the drinks list: Château Minuty Rose et Or rosé (€15 a glass), champagnes, cocktails at €25 or alcohol-free cocktails at €16. To eat: olives and peanuts, a trio of spreads (fig tapenade, sweet pepper cream, tuna rillettes…) or Iberian charcuterie.
Practical information
The rooftop is seasonal: it opens from May to September, weather permitting, and closes for the rest of the year. In 2026, the season began on 27 May. In summer, it is open every day in the late afternoon and evening. La Muette station (line 9) is a few minutes' walk away. The Nordic bath can be booked on request, and the space can be hired for small events.
With its rooftop kitchen garden and its view of the Eiffel Tower, the Brach rooftop offers a countryside escape in the heart of the 16th arrondissement.
