An adults-only rooftop on Yas Island

The WB Abu Dhabi, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel dedicated to the Warner Bros. universe, welcomes many families. Its roof, however, is a space apart: on the 7th floor, The Overlook is reserved for adults, and the pool area for over-21s. A long wooden deck borders the infinity pool, with grey banquettes, light curtains and glass balustrades; at the back, a cosier indoor lounge houses the bar. A large screen beside the pool shows images and short films.

The view takes in Yas Island, the Yas Links golf course, the mangroves and, beyond the channel, the towers of Al Raha Beach. The sunset here is particularly beautiful.

Cocktails, shisha and food

Signature cocktails cost 65 to 75 dirhams, draught beer 45 to 60 dirhams, wine by the glass 50 to 75 dirhams. The kitchen offers dishes with exotic flavours, and shisha is served. In the late afternoon, the Sundowner offer accompanies the sunset with a DJ; ladies' night, a wine and charcuterie evening and a Latin night round out the week.

Practical information

Open every day from 11am; closing time varies from one evening to the next, so it is best to call before coming. Reserved for adults, pool from age 21. Casual dress.
