Siddharta Lounge: Yas Bay nights from the roof of the pier

Yas Bay Waterfront is the dining and leisure district in the south of Yas Island, between the Etihad Arena and the waterfront hotels. The Siddharta Lounge occupies the top level of the pier that juts out into the bay: an open-air terrace lined with white pillars, patio heaters and rattan pendant lights, extended by an indoor room. In front of you, the waters of the bay and, opposite, the towers of Al Raha lighting up as night falls.

Asia and the Mediterranean to share

The menu combines Asian and Mediterranean influences: sushi, dumplings, tapas, seafood and fine cuts of meat, designed for sharing. Signature cocktails, often flavoured with sake, yuzu or matcha tea, cost 65 to 75 dirhams, sangrias 65 dirhams and alcohol-free cocktails 55 dirhams. Sunday to Thursday, from 5pm to 7pm, the Sunset Session offers one free drink for every drink bought from a selection.

An evening that builds up

Buddha-Bar's signature music sets the tone, then DJs and artists take over. The week is punctuated by an all-you-can-eat sushi night on Wednesdays, a ladies' night on Thursdays and an evening brunch on Saturdays.

Open every day from 5pm, until 2am Sunday to Thursday and until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry strictly restricted to over-21s. Smart casual dress: no shorts, tracksuits or flip-flops.
