RT60: the musical rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid
Above the Art Triangle
The Hard Rock Hotel Madrid stands on the Ronda de Atocha, right opposite the Museo Reina Sofía. Its rooftop, RT60, occupies the eighth floor: a partly covered terrace, with a bar, high tables and low lounge areas facing the city.
On one side, the view takes in the red extension of the Reina Sofía, Atocha station and the Ministry of Agriculture; on the other, it opens out widely towards the south of Madrid. The place is known for its sunsets.
Cocktails, tacos and music sessions
The menu focuses on signature cocktails and classics, with alcohol-free options and spritzes. On the food side, there are fresh, coast-inspired sharing plates: bluefin tuna ceviche, tacos, grilled octopus or burgers. The atmosphere is musical, with regular sessions; in summer, “Mixology Musical” tastings take you on a journey through music history in miniature cocktails.
RT60 also hosts private events, from afterwork drinks to parties with friends.
Practical information
The rooftop is open to the public, with no minimum spend and no strict dress code (no swimwear or flip-flops). It is reached by an outdoor lift located to the right of the hotel entrance. In October 2026, it is open Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 11pm and Friday to Sunday from 4pm to midnight; the season starts again every spring and the venue may close for private events, so it is best to check before going up. Booking recommended at weekends. Estación del Arte metro (line 1), with Atocha station a few minutes away.
