Picos Pardos Sky Lounge: Salamanca's chic rooftop
On the roof of the BLESS Hotel
In the heart of the chic Salamanca district, the BLESS Hotel occupies a building on calle de Velázquez, a few streets from the Retiro and the boutiques of calle de Serrano. Its roof is home to Picos Pardos Sky Lounge: a terrace planted with olive and cypress trees, curtained cabanas around a pool with emerald-green tiles, and a glass pergola.
The view takes in calle de Velázquez and the rooftops of the district, all the way to the silhouettes of the centre on the horizon.
Cocktails, food and pool
The drinks list lines up spritzes, great classics and house creations, generally between €14 and €18, as well as alcohol-free cocktails. On the food side, a gastronomic menu is shared on the terrace. The more relaxed pergola is open with no minimum spend. In summer, the pool is accessible to non-hotel guests only through day pass packages on Balinese beds, with a towel and a gourmet selection; in winter, the terrace changes its look.
Practical information
The rooftop is at calle de Velázquez 62; Velázquez metro station (line 4) is very close by. Tables can be booked online or by phone, and the pool day pass must be booked in advance for a specific time slot. Opening hours change with the season, so it is best to check them before you come.
A spot to round off an afternoon of shopping in Salamanca, drink in hand.
