The Roof Shibuya Sky: a seasonal bar at the top of Shibuya
On the roof of Shibuya Scramble Square
Shibuya Sky is the observation deck of the Shibuya Scramble Square tower, in the heart of Shibuya. After the ticket office on the 14th floor and the glazed gallery on the upper floors, you come out onto the Sky Stage, a vast open-air roof around 230 metres high, edged with glass panels. Every year, from late April to late December, a bar takes up residence here: The Roof. White sofas lined up along the glass, a glowing counter and high tables face the forest of skyscrapers; Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo Skytree stand out on the horizon, and sunset gives way to an ocean of lights.
Craft beer, cocktails and snacks
The menu brings together craft beer, cocktails designed for the night view, champagne, wine, mocktails and soft drinks. To nibble on: truffle potato crisps and a selection of snacks. Alcoholic drinks start at around ¥1,000.
