CÉ LA VI Tokyo: the rooftop terraces of Shibuya

Two floors above the station

The Shibuya Fukuras building, home to the Tokyu Plaza Shibuya shopping centre, stands one minute from the west exit of the station. CÉ LA VI occupies its 17th and 18th floors. On the 17th, BAO by CÉ LA VI serves its relaxed cuisine all day on an open-air terrace, and the Club Lounge takes over at night with its DJs. On the 18th, the Restaurant & Sky Bar offers a more intimate setting, with a glass-walled dining room and a terrace. From both levels, the view takes in the towers of Shibuya, the crossing and, in the distance, the skyscrapers of the centre; outdoor seats, however, depend on the weather and cannot be guaranteed.

Asian cuisine and cocktails

The restaurant offers contemporary Asian cuisine to share or as a set menu, with dishes such as wagyu sirloin with bulgogi sauce or grilled hanger steak with Kampot pepper. At the bar, the signature cocktails, often flavoured with jasmine, yuzu, green tea or sake, cost from ¥2,700 to ¥3,000. At BAO, you bite into bao burgers, a cross between steamed buns and hamburgers, or into a steak served on a sizzling plate. The calendar regularly features DJ nights and events on the terrace.

Restaurant & Sky Bar: lunch from 11am to 3pm, café from 3pm to 5pm, dinner from 5pm to 11pm (last entry at 10pm). BAO: from 11am to 11pm, until 10pm on Sundays and public holidays.
