Rooftop de la Réserve: a bar on the roof, facing the port and the baie des Anges
At the top of a historic seafront house
On boulevard Franck Pilatte, just past the harbour exit, La Réserve de Nice occupies an 1862 building remodelled in an Art Deco spirit and set on the rocks. The house's gastronomic restaurant welcomes guests in its glazed dining rooms; the bar, meanwhile, has made its home on the roof. Wooden decking, sofas, high tables, parasols and a plant-covered pergola make up an open-air lounge area, which the house presents as an intimate, low-key bar.
The terrace looks directly out over the sea. On one side, the jetty and its lighthouse mark the entrance to the port; on the other, the baie des Anges stretches out to the hills that close off the horizon. As night falls, the lights of the promenade trace the curve of the coastline.
Cocktails, champagne and sharing plates
On the 2026 menu, signature cocktails are €19, gin and tonics €17, champagne spritzes €18 and alcohol-free cocktails €14. Champagne can also be ordered by the glass, from €24. For nibbles, chef Jérôme Cotta offers small plates, from a truffle and comté croque-monsieur to tuna tataki, priced between €12 and €19.
Music nights and private hire
The rooftop regularly hosts music nights, with live concerts once a week during the summer. It can also be booked for a private event, on request through the sales team.
Practical information
The rooftop bar operates in the warmer months: it opens from 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and bookings can be made online via the website or on 04 97 08 14 80. It is best to check opening dates before coming, as activity depends on the season and the weather.
A spot to keep in mind for an aperitif almost at the water's edge, with one of the prettiest views over the entrance to the port.
