Cafe Sydney: the Harbour Bridge from the terrace
On the roof of Customs House
In the heart of Circular Quay, the heritage building of Customs House is home on its 5th and top level to Cafe Sydney, which opened in June 1999. Dark timber, metal and large glass doors open the dining room onto an outdoor terrace with views of the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and the comings and goings of the ferries. The private dining room, with access to the terrace, seats up to sixteen guests or holds thirty for a cocktail-style event.
Restaurant, lounge and Golden Hour
The restaurant serves seasonal Australian cuisine at lunch and dinner, paired with a regularly awarded wine list; restaurant and terrace tables are reserved for full meals. For a drink, head to the walk-in Lounge and Cocktail Bar: house cocktails from A$23 to A$26, oyster martinis, small plates to share and a large mirrored wall that lights up at nightfall. On Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm, Golden Hour offers cocktails at A$14 and oysters at A$3.
